Mohamed El Mongy

Mohamed El Mongy, is a dialogue facilitator, conflict transformation practitioner, pan-African theorist and environmental activist. He is the founder of Sycamore Consulting, and the NILE Journeys, Mongy has been a researcher in collective processes, trainer and mediator with 26 years of experience working across sectors, mainly within Africa. His experience is applied in different fields of environmental, grassroot civil society, gender and adult epistemology. He earned his MSc. degree in Environment and Development from Edinburgh University and his PhD in integral theory in innovation technology at Davinci Institute in South Africa. Mongy is the lead research department at the Ubuntu Lab Institute Mongy has been an Art of Hosting practitioner for more than 12 years. He initiated the first Art of Hosting in Egypt. He participated and hosted several Art of Hosting Trainings in Greece, Kenya, Netherlands and Egypt. Mongy lived, studied and worked in many countries across his professional career other than Egypt; Senegal, The Gambia, Ghana, South Africa, Morocco, Kenya, France, the Netherlands, Scotland, Armenia, Slovakia, Belgium and Jordan.
